Specialist Technicians
We have Specialist Technicians
We offer a comprehensive suite of offshore services specifically tailored to support offshore wind turbines and substations. Our skilled offshore specialist technicians are dedicated to upholding the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in every aspect of their work. From the initial installation of wind turbines to ongoing maintenance and intricate repairs, our team ensures that your offshore wind assets are consistently optimized for peak performance and long-term reliability. By combining advanced tools with deep industry knowledge, we provide solutions that enhance the efficiency and sustainability of your offshore wind projects, helping to drive the U.S. forward in the renewable energy sector.
Global Wind Organisation (GWO) Basic Safety Training (BST)
Our technicians are certified in GWO Basic Safety Training, covering essential modules such as first aid, manual handling, fire awareness, working at heights, and sea survival. This training ensures they are prepared to navigate the risks associated with offshore environments, guaranteeing safety and compliance in all operations.
Basic Offshore Safety Induction and Emergency Training (BOSIET)
Safety is our top priority. Our technicians undergo BOSIET training, which includes offshore survival techniques, helicopter safety, and emergency response procedures. This training equips them to handle emergency situations confidently, ensuring the safety of our operations in U.S. waters.
Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC)
Our technicians are TWIC-certified, allowing them to access secure areas of the U.S. maritime facilities and vessels. This credential is crucial for compliance with U.S. security regulations and ensures seamless operations at offshore wind sites.
National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Certification
We ensure our technicians are certified by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), specifically in areas relevant to electrical safety and fire prevention. This certification underlines our commitment to safety, ensuring that all electrical work complies with the strictest U.S. standards.
High Voltage (HV) Training
Working with high voltage systems is a routine part of offshore wind operations. Our technicians are HV trained, enabling them to safely manage the high voltage electrical systems crucial to the functionality of wind turbines and substations.
Rope Access Certification (IRATA or SPRAT)
Given the height and scale of wind turbines, our technicians hold certifications from the Society of Professional Rope Access Technicians (SPRAT). This U.S.-recognized certification ensures they can safely and efficiently perform tasks at height, maintaining strict safety protocols in offshore wind operations.
Marine Safety and Sea Survival
Our technicians are trained in marine safety and sea survival, including skills like life raft deployment, survival swimming, and safe transfers between vessels and offshore structures. This training is essential for ensuring personal safety in the diverse and often challenging marine environments found off the U.S. coast.
Wind Turbine Technician Certification
Our team holds certifications from leading turbine manufacturers such as Siemens Gamesa, Vestas, and GE, which are widely used in the U.S. offshore wind industry. These certifications enable our technicians to expertly maintain and operate specific turbine models, ensuring optimal performance and safety across your offshore assets.
Electrical and Mechanical Proficiency
We pride ourselves on the strong electrical and mechanical competencies of our technicians. With qualifications ranging from Electrical Engineering degrees to technical diplomas and apprenticeships, our team is fully equipped to manage the installation, maintenance, and repair of wind turbine components, including complex electrical systems.
